  • Audio Recordings: Audio files of your speaking practice, which are securely stored on Cloudflare R2 to provide feedback and grading.
  • Payment Information: Processed securely by our payment processor, Stripe. We never store or have access to your full credit card numbers.
  • Cookies & Device Data: Information necessary for authentication, session management, and basic service functionality.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information strictly to provide, maintain, and improve our Service. This includes evaluating your quiz answers and speaking recordings using AI models to provide instant feedback and estimated scores. We may also use aggregated, anonymized data to improve our service accuracy.

4. Processors and Subprocessors

To provide our Service, we share limited necessary data with trusted third-party processors:

  • Cloudflare: For hosting, edge computing, and secure data storage (including audio recordings on R2).
  • Stripe: For processing all payments and subscriptions.
  • AI Model Providers: Such as OpenAI or Google, to generate exercises, evaluate quizzes, and grade speaking responses. Data sent to these providers is used strictly for generating your results and is not used to train their public models.
  • Transactional Email Provider: For sending account-related notifications.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the Service. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. Upon deletion request, we will promptly remove your personal information, including audio recordings, from our active systems.

Under Canadian privacy laws, including PIPEDA and Quebec Law 25, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal information.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
