Terms of Service
Last updated: July 18, 2026
1. Agreement to Terms & Service Description
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Ace the Score, an AI-powered TCF/TEF Canada exam preparation platform (the "Service"). By accessing the Service, you agree to these Terms.
2. Accounts, Subscriptions, and Quiz Credits
We offer both Free and Pro account tiers. Access to specific features and quiz generation may require credits or an active subscription.
Billing: All payments are processed securely via Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via the billing portal. Cancellation stops future charges, but you will retain access until the end of your current billing period.
3. Refunds Policy
We offer a 14-day refund policy upon request for unused subscriptions. If you have generated quizzes, used AI grading features, or completed exercises during that period, your subscription is considered used and is not eligible for a refund.
4. Acceptable Use
To ensure a fair and secure environment, you agree not to:
- Use automated scripts or scrapers to access the Service or extract data.
- Share your account credentials with others. Accounts are strictly for individual use.
- Abuse, bypass limits, or attempt to manipulate the AI generation and grading features.
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
5. Disclaimer of Guarantees
Ace the Score is an educational tool designed to help you prepare for the TCF and TEF Canada exams. However, we do not guarantee any specific exam score, outcome, or immigration result. Your official exam performance depends on a variety of factors outside our control.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its code, design, branding, and proprietary AI workflows, is owned by Ace the Score. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Service for your personal test preparation. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of our platform.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, particularly the Acceptable Use policy.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ace the Score and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the preceding 12 months.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the province of Quebec, Canada. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Quebec.
